Deadline to Enter the 2023 Security Solutions Awards is Friday
Annual program allows security product suppliers to showcase their wares and security contractors to identify innovative project solutions.
OK, you’ve waited long enough. You’ve procrastinated while you made your way to the beach, hit the road with your family and soaked in the summer sun. It’s time to get serious again.
The deadline for Security Sales & Integration‘s 2023 Security Solutions Awards is Friday. Yes, this Friday. (Editor’s note: we’ve extended the deadline one more time until Friday, Sept. 1).
For the uninitiated, the Security Solutions Awards is our annual product application honors program, recognizing manufacturers and other suppliers within the electronic security industry.
The program distinguishes manufacturers and vendors whose electronic security solutions have been proven in the field to meet security, safety or other organizational needs for end users.
The Security Solutions Awards represent “a rare opportunity for security product suppliers,” says Dan Ferrisi, group editor, commercial and security, for Emerald. It’s a chance to highlight the differentiators your products bring to market, while also giving dealers, installers and integrators a chance to see how those products can enhance their projects.
“We all know that security- and safety-related deployments are often a matter of life and death, which means the stakes for those in our industry couldn’t be higher. SSI founded the Security Solutions Awards to give industry stakeholders objective guidance on the products they can lean on to serve customer needs and the broader imperative to bring about a safer, more secure world,” he says.
A panel of experienced security industry professionals will judge each entrant based not only on the technical merits and ease of installation of the product or technology solution, but also on its ability to help installing security contractors meet project bid, specification or design parameters; satisfy regulatory, compliance or code requirements; and deliver the highest level of system capabilities, features, functionality, user-friendliness, results and client satisfaction across the full range of general, niche and vertical market applications.

All Security Solutions Awards entrants will be featured on the SecuritySales.com website, with more than 65,000 unique monthly visitors, and highlighted in an issue of SSI magazine with more than 25,000 subscribers.
Winners will be featured on the SecuritySales.com SSI Programs section, highlighted in a future print edition of SSI, allowed use of a winner logo on their company’s marketing materials and presented a trophy to mark their achievement.
Solutions involving multiple products or technologies may be cross-entered in more than one applicable category. SSI reserves the right to recategorize entries as it deems appropriate.
Entries must be INSTALLED product or technology solutions that have been either deployed in the past 12 months or are scheduled to be deployed in the coming six months.
NOTE: This program is for product manufacturers to showcase specific product applications or use cases and NOT only the products themselves.
Results of the 2023 Security Solutions Awards will be announced on the Security Sales & Integration website on Sept. 11 in coordination with the Global Security Exchange (GSX) show in Dallas.
