REDMOND, Wash. – Aiphone marketing manager Melvin Bradley Kamcheff, who was better known as Brad, died unexpectedly Dec. 26, 2023, at his home in Kirkland, Wash., at the age of 54, according to a company announcement.
Kamcheff was a 35-year employee of Aiphone Corp. who led the company’s marketing team and “was instrumental in developing the company’s strategic marketing plan,” the announcement says. He got his start in the Aiphone shipping department before moving on to the technical support department, where he developed the company’s online design tool, QuikSpec.
He later moved into the marketing department, first as a web analyst and senior marketing analyst, where he had “an integral role” in the development of Aiphone’s website, according to the company announcement.
Kamcheff was promoted to marketing manager in 2019. For the past four years, he has been responsible for developing the company’s corporate marketing and communications strategy.
When Aiphone launched its access control line, the AC Series, Kamcheff “played an instrumental role in researching the industry and how Aiphone could best bring this product line to market,” the company announcement says.
