Snap One adds Alarm.com to Portfolio
Snap One will carry a range of Alarm.com products, including cameras, video doorbells, sensors and more.
CHARLOTTE, N.C.—Snap One is adding security products from Alarm.com to its catalog to give dealers a one-stop-shop for their commercial-grade surveillance, access control and video doorbell solutions.
The global electronic company explains the move gives Snap One partners more choice and flexibility to purchase security solutions through Snap One’s procurement process and supply chain.
More specifically, Snap One will carry 48 unique Alarm.com products. Snap One points out that Alarm.com offers both commercial and residential products, but the partnership more geared more toward the commercial side, with products including video doorbells, cameras, energy management, NVRs, access control and cellular-based sensors.
For dealer partners, the addition of Alarm.com’s solutions include a partner portal that facilitates recurring monthly revenue opportunities for security installers, according to Snap One.
In a statement, Snap One Senior Security Director Clint Choate says the company’s top priority is its partners’ needs.
“With Alarm.com, Snap One Partners now have ready access to optimized solutions for standalone security, surveillance and access control projects. Additionally, Partners have access to integrated security and surveillance systems designed for native compatibility with our Control4 smart system and OvrC remote management platform,” Choate says.
“Not only does this simplify ordering and broaden access, it also ensures every purchase counts toward our Partner loyalty program rewards and delivers maximum value.”
The new additions to Snap One’s catalog expand on the existing security and access control solutions from Snap One’s brands Control4, Clare Controls and Luma, and popular third-party providers including Digital Watchdog and Nest.
In addition, all Alarm.com product purchases made through the Snap One Partner Portal accrue 1X points toward Partner Rewards, the company adds.
