Metrasens Partners with Convergint to Enable Wider Access to Advanced Detection Systems
Metrasens will now provide its advanced detection systems through Convergint’s portfolio offering to its customers.
NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Advanced security and safety detection system company Metrasens is partnering with systems integrator Convergint, which designs, installs and services electronic security, cybersecurity, fire and life safety, building automation and audiovisual systems.
Through this partnership, Metrasens will now provide its advanced detection systems through Convergint’s portfolio offering to its customers, according to the joint announcement.
“Convergint is a great organization with a stellar reputation as a leading systems integrator, and we are thrilled to partner with them to enhance safety and security with the broad range of customers and markets we both serve,” says Todd Hokunson, chief commercial officer for Metrasens, in the joint announcement.
“Metrasens Ultra is a great fit in organizations looking for screening solutions that are precise, simple, flexible, and scalable,” he says. “Working with Convergint, we can help provide a solution for these needs.”
Why Convergint Partnered With Metrasens
Metrasens’ advanced detection systems, headlined by the Metrasens Ultra solution, “excel at detecting many risk items, keeping people, property and sensitive information protected,” the announcement says, noting its applications in healthcare, corporate, government, education, hospitality, entertainment and corrections and policing.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Metrasens to meet the unique needs of our customers – including in the healthcare sector – leveraging the company’s innovative Metrasens Ultra solution,” says Christopher Lutz, vice president, healthcare vertical, for Convergint, in the joint announcement.

Metrasens will be exhibiting Metrasens Ultra and other products in booth 2715 at Global Security Exchange (GSX) from Sept. 11-13 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas.
