Securitas Technology Continues Commitment to Women in Security Scholarship Program
WISF offers programs, professional development opportunities and networking opportunities supporting women in the security industry.

UNIONTOWN, Ohio – Securitas Technology recently announced that it will “continue its support of encouraging diversity in the security industry” by committing to be a Diamond Level sponsor for the Security Industry Association (SIA) Women in Security Forum (WISF) Scholarship for 2023.
“We believe in cultivating the leadership of women across the security industry and we’re proud to continue our unwavering support of SIA in this important initiative,” says Tony Byerly, global president and CEO of Securitas Technology Corporation, in the company announcement.
“Being an industry leader in this endeavor remains a top priority for our business,” he says.
The WISF is a group for both women and men that offers programs, professional development opportunities, and networking opportunities with the goal of supporting the involvement of women in the security industry.
“Securitas Technology has been a stalwart supporter of the SIA WISF Scholarship program since its inception,” says Don Erickson, CEO of SIA, in the announcement.
“We are extremely grateful to them and the other SIA member companies who consistently demonstrate their commitment to progress in our industry through their generous donations and active participation in the WISF Scholarship program,” he says.
In 2020, Securitas Technology became one of the founding sponsors of the WISF program and continues to support its purpose is to further educational opportunities for the widest spectrum of people and empower them to thrive in the security industry.
