HID Achieves ISO Re-Certification
HID Corp., a manufacturer of contactless access control cards and readers for the security industry, announced that it has achieved ISO9001:2000 re-certification for quality management and its system certification that encompasses manufacturing.
HID first received ISO9000 Certification on June 1, 1999 and ISO9001:2000 certification on June 1, 2002.
To attain ISO9001 certification, all certified companies must conform to the ISO9001:2000 standard, which requires them to do what is necessary to fulfill the customer’s quality requirements, enhance customer satisfaction, manage their processes and continually improve their performance to meet these objectives.
