Jason Dominique is coming back to Core Brands.

The company announced on Tuesday that Dominique will return to Core Brands as the National Sales Manager of the Security Channel. Dominique previously worked for Proficient Audio from 2005 until 2013.

“I’ve already talked with our reps and distributors and everybody’s elated that Jason is coming back,” said Keith Marshall, senior vice president of security channel management at Core Brands and founder of Proficient. “Jason has a deep knowledge of custom installation and readily understands the dynamics of all sides of the business, which really helps when dealing with problems and opportunities. Plus, he’s really great with people and a whole lot of fun to work with.”

Dominique has 28 years of audio and home automation experience. His most recent stop was at Legrand, where he served as the strategic accounts manager.

In his new role, Dominique will spend ample time in the field to meet directly with customers.

He said the security channel team at Core Brands is what made him want to return.

“They get what it takes to support their distributors and installing dealers,” Dominique said. “One of the things I love about working with them was that we got some of the best ideas for products and marketing by listening to customers. I don’t think I’ve ever worked for another company that understands how to make customers happy the way Core Brands does.”
