HID Origo Mobile Receives SOC 2 Type 2 Certification
The HID Origo Mobile Identities platform recently completed third-party testing to validate the product's security and reliability to help better support access control manufacturer partners.
AUSTIN, Texas—HID, a global developer of identity solutions, has achieved SOC 2 Type 2 certification for its HID Origo Mobile Identities solution.
According to the company, this certification demonstrates its ability to maintain a highly secure, cloud-based physical access environment. Elaborating on the certification and the product, the HID Origo Mobile Identities is a coud-based platform that allows its technology partners to design and produce integrated access control solutions.

HID Origo Passes Robust SOC 2 Type 2 Testing Standards
HID boasts the certification of its HID Origo Mobile Identities signifies the product has undergone a rigorous audit process by a third party to demonstrate that effective measures are in place to protect the security and availability of customer data, according to the high standards of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Trust Services Criteria.
Explaining in greater detail, HID points out the SOC 2 Type 2 certification is part of its internal initiative to deliver innovative and efficient digital processes that help customers deploy reliable, cloud-connected access control ecosystems.
HID adds these technologies enable organizations to enhance their security, improve workplace efficiency and easily scale their access control infrastructure.
