Security Industry People: New Hires and Promotions
Here’s a list of a half dozen security professionals from across the industry ecosystem who have recently assumed new positions.
Security companies from across the installation, monitoring and manufacturing sectors have recently announced a raft of new hires and promotions. Following are a half dozen professionals who have assumed new positions.
CertiPath, a provider of identity, credential and access management services for highly regulated environments, announces the appointment of Jeff Nigriny to CEO, effective immediately. As the founder of the company in 2004, Nigriny formally held the position of President and replaces Shawn Hughes as CEO. Hughes will assume the role of chief experience officer to enhance the customer experience for the company’s growing client base.
PDQ Manufacturing, a provider of architectural door hardware and IoT access control solutions, has named Sam Sutherland as national sales manager for pdqSMART Cloud-Based access control. Sutherland has 20-plus years’ experience in managing and leading sales teams for GE Smart, Honeywell and Tyco Security. He also has a strong background in government security and law enforcement. He served in the U.S. Army, retiring as Lt Colonel.
IDIS America further expands its sales team with the appointment of Sal Mastropole as South-Eastern U.S. sales manager. Mastropole has extensive experience of designing, selling and deploying network security and video surveillance solutions. He will be focusing on supporting existing and new system integrators to develop opportunities for end-to-end solutions that now encompass intelligent video analytics powered by IDIS’s deep learning capabilities.
WeSuite, manufacturer of sales management software for security technology sales and service providers, announces the promotion of Arturo Bravo to vice president, operations, effective immediately. In his new role, Bravo will supervise and implement all processes and functions to support the company’s day-to-day operations and growth strategies. Bravo’s nine-year tenure at the company includes multiple positions in various departments. Most recently, he served as director of deployment and client services.
ShotSpotter announces the appointment of Regan Davis to the position of vice president of customer success. She will lead a team of former law enforcement executives who ensure customers realize full value of the services through use of best practices. Davis brings more than 25 years of leadership in customer success, strategic partnerships and general management to the company. Prior to joining ShotSpotter, she was vice president of customer success, support and professional services for TapClicks, a leader in marketing technology, and held executive roles in companies such as Yahoo.
dormakaba announces that Ron Virden has joined its access solutions Americas segment as senior vice president, entrance systems & interior glass. He will lead these product lines in North and South America, with focus on growth. Virden will be based in the company’s Indianapolis headquarters. He has nearly 25 years of experience in executive leadership roles within multinational and portfolio companies in the security industry. His most recent role was as COO and president, international, at ACRE.
