Deadline Looms: Enter the 2023 SAMMY Awards Now!
SSI’s Sales and Marketing (SAMMY) Awards serves as the benchmark for security industry excellence in sales & marketing, business operations, project design, management, and installation among dealers and integrators.
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — Security Sales & Integration is seeking entries for the 28th annual SAMMY Awards. As the security industry’s original sales, marketing and installation awards program, dealers and integrators are urged to show off their marketplace successes and accomplishments.
A panel of judges will select the top nominees in each of 12 categories among security dealers and integrators that exemplify professionalism in their sales, marketing and installation efforts. For the second consecutive year, the awards gala will be held on the center of the ISC West show floor.
The award ceremony (along with the 2023 SSI Industry Hall of Fame inductions) will take place on March 29, with the exact time soon to be announced.
Grand prizes will be given for Integrated Installation of the Year, Installer of the Year and Integrated Marketing Program of the Year. Best Social Media Campaign, Community Outreach Program and Vehicle Graphics Design are among the other categories that are available for entry.
“It’s been said that recognition is the most powerful of motivators. People crave praise and the feeling of being appreciated. Studies have stunned business owners and managers by showing that workers value positive feedback above and beyond anything else, including money,” says SSI Editor-in-Chief Scott Goldfine. “For that reason and many others, back in the mid-1990s, Security Sales & Integration launched the Sales & Marketing (SAMMY) Awards. The program — which recognizes and honors electronic security dealers/integrators that demonstrate exceptional expertise in their sales & marketing materials, business practices, and installations — has gained momentum each and every year.”

Entries for the 2023 awards program are due by Feb. 6, 2023 (this is the extended deadline). Entering the SAMMYs is free and open to North American professional installing dealers and integrators only.
In addition to receiving a majestic SAMMY trophy to prominently exhibit your office, winners also gain prime exposure in SSI’s June and July (Installers and Installations of the Year) issues that can be shown to prospects.
