Senstar Sensor Fusion Technologies Focal Point of ISC West Booth
As part of its show activities at ISC West 2023 Senstar is hosting its, “sensor fusion challenge,” an interactive basketball game that showcases how the technologies work.
OTTAWA, Canada—Senstar, a provider of sensing and information management solutions for the protection of critical infrastructure, is showcasing new technologies at ISC West 2023 in Las Vegas.
As part of the company’s show activities, it is highlighting its sensor fusion engine, as well as a wide range of perimeter sensors, and software innovations for security and business operations.
“Our development team has made advancements with the Sensor Fusion Engine, a breakthrough AI-based technology that reduces setup complexity, defeats nuisance/false alarms and ultimately gives the customer the highest level of confidence in identifying and detecting real threats,” says Jeremy Weese, chief technology officer for Senstar.
“Sensor fusion is Ideal for protecting specific problematic perimeter zones where the performance of existing technologies isn’t sufficient.”
Senstar Conducts Sensor Fusion Challenge at ISC West 2023
At ISC West in booth #17109, Senstar is inviting booth visitors to take part in the sensor fusion challenge, an interactive basketball game that differentiates between nuisance alarms and real threats. This technology the Canadian company explains, accesses low level data to intelligently characterize potential risks. Data synthesis enables the system to achieve levels of performance that exceed those of the individual sensors.
In 2022 the Sensor Fusion Engine was the recipient of a Security Industry Association NPS Award, and soon this solution will work with a new AI-based high-performance video analytic. Weese points out.
“The analytic uses a trained, deep neural network (DNN) to accurately classify objects, enhancing the performance of the sensor fusion engine even further,” he comments.
Visitors to the Senstar booth will also see demonstrations of sensors including the FiberPatrol point-locating sensor for fence, wall and buried applications, the Senstar LM100, an all-in-one detection and deterrence system, the FlexZone fence-mounted sensor, and OmniTrax, our locating buried cable intrusion detection sensor.
