Johnson Controls IQ4 NS Designed for Smart Home Integration
The UL rated security solution from Johnson Controls offers smart home integration via compatibility with the Z-Wave 800 Series platform to provide advanced automation capabilities.
The new Johnson Controls IQ4 NS offers features such as 24-hour battery backup capabilities, and a built-in speaker that can playback chime sounds, custom text to speech and language translation.
MILWAUKEE—Johnson Controls, a global manufacturer of smart, healthy and sustainable building solutions, has announced the release of its new IQ4 NS (No Screen) Security and Smart Home System.
The new screen-free system from the Midwestern-based company is said to provide the same quality and reliability customers expect from its IQ Panel 4 platform, but at an entry level price.
“We designed this new system with robust security features, as well as with total cost of ownership and ease of use in mind,” comments Mike Hackett, vice president, global sales & marketing, Johnson Controls.
“With features like the simple SmartMount system, powerful Alarm.com integration, and accessibility through the Johnson Controls IQ Installer Interface application, installation on a wall or table is meant to be easy and efficient.”
IQ4 NS System is Cost Effective for Homeowners
The company explains the IQ4 NS allows users to take advantage of the powerful and robust feature set directly from their smart devices for added convenience and cost savings.
Johnson Controls recently showcased its new IQ4 NS Security and Smart Home System during the ISC West trade event, which took place this past March in Las Vegas, Nev.
The global company boasts the new IQ4 NS Security and Smart Home System features PowerG range and reliability to provide dealers with the flexibility to deliver to homeowners a custom-tailored solution that fits their specific needs through its integration of the Z-Wave 800 Series platform that enables smart home automation features.
Johnson Control adds that its new system also comes with built-in UL rated siren with 24-hour backup battery capabilities, and a built-in speaker for chimes, custom text to speech and language translation. The combined features Johnson Control emphasizes, makes the IQ4 NS system a complementary and cost-effective security solution for applications that includes residential, builder, multi-family units, and small to mid-size buildings.
