Hikvision Introduces a Pair of Varifocal Camera Lines
Hikvision’s latest camera products are designed to meet the needs of dealers through a range of features and price points.
CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif.—Hikvision, a manufacturer and supplier of security products and solutions has announced two varifocal camera lines to meet a wide range of project needs.
The new cameras feature motorized varifocal lenses, as well as 4 MP resolution capabilities and H.265+ video compression technology, and these cameras are offered in multiple styles to best suit specific installation applications. The first line is the Value Express Varifocal Camera line that Hikvision says is for advanced functionality on a budget, such as motion detection. The second product line is the AcuSense Motorized Varifocal Camera line with advanced technologies for high-end applications.

Hikvision Varifocal Cameras Lines Provides Lots of Product Choices
The global security equipment manufacturer’s new lineup includes dome, turret, and bullet models to cover a range of applications through the choice of five new models.
Hikvision asserts that its new lineup of emerging security technologies were developed in response to market demand for security products that deliver reliable high-performance operation and extreme value.
Here is a closer look at the new camera product lines:
Value Express Varifocal Cameras: The cost-effective Value Express line includes the 4 MP Outdoor EXIR Varifocal Network Bullet Camera (Model ECI-B64Z2) and the 4 MP Outdoor EXIR Varifocal Network Dome Camera (Model ECI-D64Z2).
The Value Express models offer basic functionality that includes motion detection. These cameras also has provide dealers several features such as:
- Up to 2560 x 1440 Resolution
- Hikvision’s EXIR 2.0 for extended IR range up to 100 feet (30 meters)
- Minimum Illumination: Color: 0.018 Lux @ (f/1.6, AGC on)
- 2.8 mm to 12 mm Motorized Varifocal Lens
- 12-volts DC ± 25% (PoE IEEE802.3af), maximum 10 or 11 W with durable metal housing
Advanced Value IP Varifocal Cameras: Hikvision’s high-performance camera solutions include the 4 MP AcuSense Motorized Varifocal Turret Network Camera, along with the 4 MP AcuSense Motorized Varifocal Dome Network Camera, and 4 MP AcuSense Motorized Varifocal Bullet Network Camera. Hikvision points out the Value IP cameras support AcuSense for intelligent human and vehicle classification while providing clear, high-quality video images.
Key features of the Advanced Value Cameras include:
- High-quality imaging with 4 MP resolution
- Motorized varifocal lens for easy installation and monitoring
- Clear imaging against strong backlight due to 120 dB WDR technology
- Water and dust resistant (IP67) and vandal resistant (IK10)
- Focus on human and vehicle targets classification based on deep learning
