Iluminar StatusLight Designed for Security Applications
The new iluminar StatusLight can be used to communicate a range of notifications to users through the security lights’s ability to output customized colors during an event.
IRVINE, Calif.—iluminar Inc., a specialist manufacturer and supplier of infrared and white light illuminators, has announced the release of StatusLight, an agnostic IoT indicator lamp purpose-built for the security industry.
Housing more than 36 full-spectrum LEDs, the StatusLight is a compact and lightweight device designed to indicate the status of an ongoing event. The West Coast company emphasizes that its latest product is customizable and scalable, the LED light product can receive alerts from a range of sources, and it can trigger bright colors, patterns and sounds to alert onsite personnel of an ongoing security event.

Dealers Can Customize StatusLight LED Colors
Iluminar explains that whether initiated by an unauthorized perimeter breach or the identification of an individual attempting to access a protected area, the color of the StatusLight’s full-spectrum LEDs—red, green, blue, yellow and white—can be customized to change, depending on the urgency of the alarm.
Designed for ease of integration, the StatusLight supports PoE, Wifi, SMS and AI and is the perfect add-on for deployments across verticals, such as K-12 schools, hospitals, banks, utilities, critical infrastructure, and more.
