Camden Releases Spec Guide for Wireless Restroom Control

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Canada — Camden Door Controls, a provider of door activation and locking products, has published a new application spec guide for specification writers designing a wireless, barrier-free restroom control system.
The application utilizes standard push plate “push to open” switches and a mushroom “push to lock” switch, with CM-TX9 battery-powered wireless transmitters, and CM-RX-91 and CM-RX92 receivers.
“Occupied” and “Locked” annunciation is provided by hard-wired (narrow) LED annunciators that are mounted on the door frame, inside and outside the restroom. The application sheet is posted as a resource on Camden’s restroom control product page.
Camden offers a range of packages designed specifically for the control of automatic doors in restroom applications.
The kits are said to feature a number of exclusive products that are not available elsewhere, including the CM-AF500 single gang annunciator (providing “OWL” signage that is not legible when unit is not lit), CX-33 advanced logic relay (providing exclusive operation modes for restroom control) and Aura illuminated push plate switches (that combine “OWL” annunciation and door activation in one product.
