i-PRO NX Recorder Series Delivers Remote Monitoring
The new i-PRO NX Recorder Series features an embedded Linux operating system, as well the ability to record 128 channels, and the ability to support up to 18TB hard drives per card slot.
i-PRO has announced its new NX Recorder Series of professional network video recorders (NVRs).
TOKYO—i-PRO Co. Ltd., a global manufacturer of professional security solutions for surveillance and public safety, has announced the release of its i-PRO NX Recorder Series of professional network video recorders (NVRs).
i-PRO states that its latest solution is a high-capacity, secure recording solution featuring remote monitoring and no yearly licensing requirements.

NX Recorder Series Provides Cost Effective System Flexibility
Designed for medium-size businesses that require serverless simplicity and cost-effective installation and maintenance, the NX Recorder Series provides flexibility channel expansion and offers connectivity with a wide range of camera brands. The company says that its latest product line includes three different models and an additional extension unit for flexible, stable, and secure operation.
i-PRO points out the new series of NVRs incorporate a new, built-in remote monitoring feature that enables security professionals to watch over premises from any location from a browser or mobile device. In addition, the new NX Recorder Series NVRs allow customers to store significantly more video footage with support for up to 18TB hard drives per slot for a maximum capacity of 972TB. i-PRO emphasizes this feature allows users to worry less about storage management while fulfilling the demand for increased data retention. Other features the new product line offers include enhanced cybersecurity features, such as FIPS 140-2 Level 3 compliance and GlobalSign certificate pre-installation that helps to ensure data and the network is protected.
The company adds the NX Recorder Series’ PC-less functionality keeps installation and maintenance simple and extremely cost-effective without sacrificing expansion options. The NVRs also support a “failover function” for redundant recording and “HDD standby-mode” for longer HDD lifetime and lower power consumption to support end-user sustainability objectives.
The i-PRO NX Recorder Series also provides features such as:
