U.K. Cabling Infrastructure Supplier AMG Now Offering Solutions Stateside

The ISO 9001 Certified manufacturer of network fiber-optic transmission products is bringing a broad line of transmission solutions to the Americas.

BIGGLESWADE, U.K. — AMG Systems of the United Kingdom says it is taking the first steps in making its line of network and fiber-optic transmission solutions available to customers throughout North America. The company manufactures a wide solution set available from two ISO 9001-certified facilities in the U.K. According to a release, AMG is known for its innovative line of Ethernet products such as managed switches, fiber-optic media converters, copper Ethernet distance-extending products and wireless Ethernet products. These products are now available for order and delivery throughout North America.

Established in 1993, AMG has advanced into a leading transmission product manufacturer throughout Europe and the Middle East. According to the release, AMG will focus on providing connectivity and communications network solutions to the security, intelligent transportation and factory automation/industrial control markets in the Americas.

AMG is headed by Managing Director Steve Clarke, who formerly held the same post with ComNet Europe. He was responsible for establishing and growing that company into a significant presence before being acquired by ACRE.

“We’re excited to be bringing AMG to North America,” says Clarke. “The U.S. market holds great potential, and we believe there is currently a void in the market for the products AMG offers. We plan to establish a U.S. footprint with offices and product warehousing coming very soon, but we believe with our large inventory, we can deliver AMG products anywhere in the world quickly.”

AMG says having products in stock, being fully supported by its design team and covered by the supplier’s lifetime warranty gives North American customers a measurable advantage in today’s competitive marketplace. Further, the company maintains its line of fiber-optic, copper, and wireless video and data transmission equipment is uniquely designed to meet the needs of the firm’s targeted markets cited above.
