EnGenius Introduces EXT1105P Switch Extender
EnGenius states that its new EXT1105P Switch Extender can be used to power devices such as access points, security cameras, and other PoE-enabled components.
California-based EnGenius Technologies has announced its new EXT1105P Switch Extender.
COSTA MESA, Calif.—Adding to its selection of networking products, the global electronics company EnGenius has introduced its EXT1105P Switch Extender.
EnGenius states that its latest product is now shipping, and the product is designed to provide businesses with a simplified solution to meet a range of connectivity needs. The West Coast-based manufacturer says that security dealers can combine the new EXT1105P Switch Extender with its EnGenius Cloud service to provide centralized management for all EnGenius components, including APs and PDUs to enhance system efficiency, while reducing costs through the cloud platform’s ability to deliver remote configuration and system self healing capabilities.
EnGenius says that some of the other highlights of the EXT1105P Switch Extender include its PoE technologies that support its ability to power devices that are not near power outlets. The network switch component also offers PSE outlet ports that are said to streamline network expansion by enabling direct connections to products like cameras, speakers, and access points.
In addition, the EnGenius EXT1105P Switch Extender incorporates capabilities such as quick onboarding options that facilitate product integration through simplified configuration templates that eliminate the need for onsite visits, and VLAN trunking options that allow for network segmentation to individual units or rooms to improve and upgrade network security.
